The SeaPerch Build workshop will take place in the Submarine Museum and Library home of the historic FIRST nuclear submarine the USS Nautilus. The museum is located outside the main gate of the Submarine Base Groton.
This is your chance to learn about SeaPerch and underwater ROV that has become a STEM project in many schools around the country. Participants will receive a SeaPerch Kit ($179 value) which they will build over the course of this two day workshop. From fabricating the ROV skeleton, learn about the SeaPerch curriculum and solder the controllers circuit board. Participants will experience what their students learn through this great project.
During the workshop information on the Connecticut SeaPerch scrimmages as well as the State and National SeaPerch Competitions will be discussed.
The registration fee includes the SeaPerch Kit and lunch each day.
