Explore the New VEX IQ Robotics system during a day of hands on learning. Participants will work with the IQ system including building and programing and driving. This years competition challenge and playing field will de explained.
During the school year there will be 5 opportunities for upper elementary and middle schools students to demonstrate their building, programming and driving skills.
We will discuss IQ kit ordering, registering with VEX and what materials would best meet students needs as well as available resources for coaches/teachers and mentors..
VEX IQ is one of the fastest growing robotics programs in the country and this year the CCSU, School of Engineering, Science and Technology will be sponsoring a State Championship for IQ teams.
Breakfast and a box lunch will be provided.
Registration is $30 per participant.
